If you are craving savory, scratch made comfort food, Ma Taylor’s is the Food Truck for you!  Chef Dave’s time spent as chef in upscale restaurants and country clubs is a difference you are sure to taste!

Dave started his culinary career at 17 as a US Navy diver and cook on board a rescue salvage ship in the western Pacific during Vietnam. After the Navy, he attended the University of Sydney, Australia, obtaining his Culinary Arts Degree. Within a short time, he returned to the US and worked for Peppermill and Houlihan’s restaurants, becoming a training and troubleshooting Chef for many locations. Dave was tapped to help create a little restaurant known as Romano’s Macaroni Grill, going from concept to reality. After attaining the level of Executive Chef, Dave moved to Phoenix, where he was the Executive Chef for Rio Verde/Tonto Verde Country Clubs. Eventually tired of the grind working for others and after 25 years, Dave changed his career completely for 15 years. He is now back, working for himself and doing what he loves.

The many options of comfort food favorites (especially the scratch made chicken pot pie!) make a favorite hard to choose!  The meatloaf grilled cheese is a brilliant and delicious concoction and definitely what we recommend the next time you see the Food Truck out and about!
